Finance Associate (INTERN)

Pay Hourly: $22.00


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


We are looking for a responsible Finance Associate who is detail-oriented and self-motivated with strong

analytical skills.


·         The candidate with be fully involved in the entire Accounts Payable process. H/She will process invoices in on a weekly basis; reconcile vendor statements; contact vendors for payment issues; and process employees’ expense reports.

·         H/She will assist in the monthly closing: company credit cards reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and adjustments and accruals.

·         Calculate and file sales and use taxes, prepared property tax filing, and prepared vendor’s 1099-MISC.

·         Prepare reports to analyze and breakdown the costs for marketing programs and product development.

·         Manage fixed assets: performed physical checking and disposals, maintain records in QuickBooks.

·         Analyze various financial services and solutions to ensure achievement of all financial targets.


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


·         BS in Accounting/Finance required.

·         Must have thorough understanding of how to use QuickBooks and perform QuickBooks analysis.

·         Able to speak/understand Mandarin a plus but not required.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

·         Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).

·         Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

·         Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
