The Lead Recruiter is a coach and mentor to Recruiters and Sourcers. The purpose of the role is to ensure that client positions are filled with high-quality candidates and that the candidate pipeline is continuously growing and reflects the talent that clients are requesting.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the recruiting team through daily goal setting and individual accountability
  • Provide oversight for all recruiting activities including; sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiations and candidate management
  • Ensure that all recruiters are following procedure regarding data collection and communication
  • Ensures all Recruiters are carving out time to stay in continuous communication with candidates who are placed on assignment
  • Work with management, recruiters, clients and candidates to resolve any issues that arise
  • Partner with the business development function to ensure on-going candidate pipeline that reflects the client s needs in both the short and long term
  • Partners with management in identifying skill/competency gaps and assists in the development of of solutions
  • Responsible for training the recruiting team to meet the hiring demands of the division
  • Regularly attends networking events to build brand awareness and new contacts
  • Partners with management in identifying ways to streamline processes
  • Meets with team regularly to review performance to activity metrics
  • 3+ years of experience in the recruiting industry
  • 2+ years demonstrated performance in exceeding plan goals
  • A passion for coaching and training others
  • Independent and able to work with their own direction
  • Team player
  • Highly motivated and ethical
  • Goal oriented to achieve business objectives
  • Well networked within the industry
  • Fast paced and able to adjust quickly to multiple priorities
