Production Purchasing Agent is critical to the La Michoac n PLM LLC team meeting its vision of being the customer preferred vendor in frozen treats. As such this person works closely with production scheduling to ensure that raw ingredients, packaging and the components that go into the manufacturing of our product are here on time, at the lowest cost while meeting the high quality standards expected. This position works closely with logistics, sales and operations in coordinating and meeting aforementioned company goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for purchasing all ingredients and commodities including outsourced or subcontracted services and/or sub-assemblies
  • Responsible for maintaining an awareness of commodity price and availability risk, alerting management and developing sourcing strategies to reduce-moderate such risk
  • Responsible for creating RFQ s for ingredients and commodities; negotiate purchasing contracts with vendors to obtain best prices, quality and service

    Primary Responsibilities
    As a Pack Supervisor, you will oversee the flow of pack fulfillment operations. This position supervises a large team of 30-50 hourly staff members, as well as 4-6 hourly shift leads. It is the responsibility of this supervisor to ensure meals are packed efficiently, in a timely and accurate manner and that quality control is being managed at all times. This position oversees the box return and recycle program. The Pack Supervisor is responsible for adhering to the budget set for the pack department.

    Responsibilities:
    Research materials and suppliers for high tech solutions to modular building structural, waterproofing, cladding, and specialty systems

    Develops and manages supply chain relations to source materials for urban projects ranging from$10-100+ million, including mid rise and high rise residential developments

    Review drawings and specifications for completeness of documents, design-related problems, and other potential risks

    Generates project budgets based on conceptual design drawings and outline specifications, and maintains budgets as designs evolve



    Requirements

    4-year college degree in engineering, construction management, building construction or similar

    5 years of experience in construction estimating

    Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills

    Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices

    <![CDATA[Forklift Operator]]> Thu, 04 Feb 2016 00:00:00 EST 0 <![CDATA[2nd shift Machine Operator]]> Thu, 21 Jan 2016 00:00:00 EST 0 <![CDATA[Collections Specialist]]>   Customer SUMMARY  As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining minimal delinquencies in assigned portfolios through professional and proactive measures; respond to customer inquiries in a timely, accurate and courteous manner; actively pursue late charges.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.  

    Ø      Correspond via phone and in writing with customers and  Company personnel to resolve delinquencies.

    Ø      Research as needed to resolve delinquencies and customer disputes. 

    Ø      Research and resolve any billing/cash discrepancies.

    Ø      Obtain sales tax exemptions, resale certificates and copies of direct pay permits from customers claiming tax exemption.

    Ø      Document collection/customer service efforts on an account in an accurate, detailed and timely manner.

    Ø      As needed, assist cash applications area with proper payment posting of customer payments.

    Ø      Looking into short pays, pulling paperwork, payment screen, payment history books, and billed books. Again this may require going into some of our storage areas.

    Ø      Notify management of customer bankruptcy, declining credit, re-financing, or cash flow issues.

    Ø      Call customers regarding past due invoices.

    Ø      Answer incoming calls from customers and direct them to the appropriate people/department as needed.

    Ø      Being very detailed on what is happening to a specific invoice, lease, sale, freight, personal property tax that is not getting paid.

    Ø      Following up internally with various departments within Forsythe to ensure paperwork is put through to get receivables off the aging.

    Ø      Provides assistance and additional support to sales representatives.

    Ø      Prepare manual invoices or credits, as needed.

    Ø      Prepare default letters.

    Ø      Provide vendors with credit references.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  A high school degree and a strong math aptitude along with an accounting background are preferred.  1-2 years of collections or related experience.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS  High interpersonal skills, and verbal, written communication skills necessary to effectively interact with customers and all levels of personnel.
