Job Title: Wave Solder Machine Operator
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: 1st
Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI
Hourly Range: $18
Job Purpose:
The Wave Solderer is responsible for operating and maintaining wave soldering equipment to ensure the proper soldering of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role supports the production process by ensuring assemblies meet quality standards and customer specifications, while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Hand soldering for initial builds, touch-ups, and repairs
- Set up and operate Wave Solder Machine
- Inspect and repair defects after wave soldering
- Build and run pallets/fixtures, remove masking
- Work across various production areas
- Maintain quality control and follow safety protocols
- Overtime required
Requirements:
- Solder certification
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good attendance record
- Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, lifting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
