Job Title: Supply Chain Engineer
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift / Hours: 7am – 5pm
Location: San Antonio, TX
Salary Range: $50K – $55K

Primary Responsibilities:

• Data Reporting: Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and visual presentations to track supply chain performance metrics.
• Strategic Planning: Develop short- and long-term supply chain objectives, working closely with management to align operational goals.
• Technical Advising: Act as a subject-matter expert for technical, system, and process-related topics impacting logistics.
• Environmental Compliance: Conduct audits to assess and reduce the environmental impact of logistics operations.
• Procedure Development: Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support sustainable, consistent logistics processes.
• Process Analysis: Evaluate and document logistics workflows, identifying bottlenecks and areas for operational improvement.
• Problem Solving: Develop and test solutions to optimize manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution processes.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key supply chain indicators such as schedule adherence and inventory levels; use data to proactively address issues.
• Technology Tools: Utilize supply chain software and analytical tools to enhance operations and drive data-informed decisions.

Skills and Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in engineering, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred.
• Experience with process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) is beneficial. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Systems, or related technical discipline) 
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in data tools and platforms (Excel, SQL, Tableau, ERP/WMS systems)
• Ability to interpret data and communicate insights to cross-functional teams
