We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an open Maintenance Mechanic position at our food processing facility.

Position: Food Processing Maintenance Technician
Location: Modesto, CA

The pay rate is $32-$36 and the schedule would be 10am-7pm

The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 5 years experience in the food processing industry.
Strong electrical skills, including troubleshooting and repairs.
Extensive experience working with food processing machinery.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
The ability to perform and excel in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

We are looking for individuals who are experienced and capable of contributing immediately, not entry-level applicants or recent graduates.

Job Summary:
Compass Foods is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician with a strong background in the food processing industry. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of food production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain food processing machinery and equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
• Collaborate with production teams to support operational goals
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical skills, including troubleshooting and repair of control systems, motors, and sensors
• Proven ability to work with a variety of food processing machinery and production equipment
• Solid understanding of GMP and food safety regulations
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-demand setting
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality
