Job Title: AOI In Process Inspector
Type of Role: Temp to Hire
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3:30pm – 12:00am
- OT if needed -Monday – Thursday: 3:30pm – 2:00am
- OT if needed – Saturday: 1:30pm – 7:30p
Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin
Pay Range: $18.72/Hour
AOI In Process Inspector Job Summary
Monitor and inspect circuit board assemblies manufactured in the SMT department utilizing Automatic Optical (AOI) and/or X-ray (5DX) equipment to ensure product quality and reliability.
Nature of Duties:
Monitor SMT product at defined station(s) utilizing AOI or 5DX
Identify components including part numbers, values, package size/shape, placement and solderability
Report findings to appropriate personnel, and record findings on applicable documentation
Perform other responsibilities as needed
Education and Experience Requirements:
Experience utilizing AOI and/or 5DX equipment
Working knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to handle multiple tasks at once
May do a lot of standing and walking and may lift up to 35 pounds.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary.
Must be available for overtime as needed
Must have a strong attention to detail.
Solder certified and experience in electronics or contract manufacturing preferred
Experience in electronics or contract manufacturing and knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required
This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
