Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Type of Role: (Contract or Contract to Hire)

Shift / Hours:  Monday- Friday 12pm to 9am

Location:  Santa Teresa, NM

Hourly Range: $16.50hr 

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations on 2nd shift. This role is responsible for coordinating workflow, leading warehouse associates, ensuring shipping and receiving accuracy, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills and hands-on warehouse experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, and support warehouse associates during 2nd shift

• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity, accuracy, and efficiency

• Oversee shipping, receiving, picking, packing, staging, and inventory operations

• Ensure orders are processed accurately and meet deadlines

• Monitor workflow, resolve issues, and communicate updates to management

• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and reports

• Operate warehouse equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)

• Perform inventory checks, cycle counts, and quality inspections

• Enforce safety standards, company policies, and warehouse procedures

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Serve as point of contact for shift-related concerns and problem-solving

Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience as a Warehouse Lead, Team Lead, or Supervisor required

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling processes

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

• Basic computer skills (WMS systems, email, reports)

• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
