Job Title: PCB Drilling Supervisor 

Type of Role: Direct Hire

Shift / Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Location: Burlington, Kansas

Salary Range: 80,000 to 110,000

Job Summary
The PCB Drilling Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily drilling operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. This role supervises mechanical and laser drilling teams, ensures equipment readiness, enforces process controls, and coordinates with Engineering, CAM, and Quality to support high-mix PCB manufacturing.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily PCB drilling operations (mechanical and/or laser)
• Assign work, manage schedules, and balance workloads
• Ensure adherence to production plans and priorities
• Monitor throughput, scrap, and rework
• Ensure drilling parameters follow approved process specifications
• Manage drill bit usage, tool life, and setup control
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Enforce quality standards and monitor drill-related defects
• Train, coach, and evaluate drilling operators
• Enforce safety, 5S, and EHS requirements
• Maintain shift reports and production records
• Support audits, NPI, and customer requirements

Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
• 5+ years of PCB drilling experience
• 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical drilling processes
• Experience with multilayer and HDI PCBs
• Ability to read travelers, drill reports, and blueprints
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with laser drilling (CO? / UV)
• Familiarity with SPC and yield tracking
• Knowledge of IPC drilling requirements
• Strong leadership and communication skills
