Seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for our client in Chandler, AZ. 
(Client is open to Remote Candidates in California and Arizona)

Job Description:

• Facilitate month, quarter, and year-end close procedures including system closing, journal entry preparation, account reconciliations & reviews.
• Act as company Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) champion by ensuring the timely completion of the Company's required SOX testing, the adequate up-keep of business process documentation, and the facilitation of internal controls testing by both internal and external auditors.
• Supports internal, external, and government audit activities throughout the year, including the remediation of issues found during those audits.
• Assist with regulatory submissions as required Perform complex financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Strong experience with researching complex technical accounting topics utilizing technical accounting resources and/or FASB Notification
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from direct manager to accomplish objectives.
• Successful collaboration with accounting/finance teams to maximize performance, problem solve and deliver results.
• Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus.
• Minimum 5-7 years of accounting background, preferably in a manufacturing environment, DoD contract experience a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel. ++

• $48.00 to S58.00 per hour
