We are seeking to hire a Forklift Operator to support a client located in Hayward, CA. Our client is a global leader in crating, packaging, logistics & design.

Job Duties: 

• Forklift operators are responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs, and managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment, among other duties 

• Forklift operators will need to transport valuable items, requiring diligence and good hand-eye coordination 

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items 

• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility 

• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency 

• Securing loads to the machine before transportation 

• Inspecting for damages to vehicles 

• Operating and managing technical equipment 

• Picking and wrapping orders for shipment 

• Identifying workplace safety hazards 

• Adhering to safety management standards 

• Adhering to production schedules 

Job Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED 

• Valid fork-lifting certificate 

• Excellent hand-eye coordination 

• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners 

• Mathematical aptitude 

• Good organizational skills 

• Attention to detail 

• Good written and verbal communication 

Additional Information:  

• Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment screenings. I.e., background check, drug screening, physical and/or employment verification as required, etc.  

Job Location:   

• Hayward, CA 

Shifts Available:  

• 1st Shift – 1st-Day – Monday – Friday 7:00am-4:00pm OT as needed + Saturdays  

Job Types:

• Full-Time, Contract  

Pay:

• $19-20
