Production Test Technician

We are seeking to hire a Production Test Technician to support a Global Technology manufacturer. Our client is in San Jose, CA. Job Summary:  
Looking for a Production Test Technician to perform testing of defective products, identify needed  repairs, and ensures quality control for commercial standards and customer needs. If you are a dynamic  technician who loves working in RMA and repairing and debugging servers, then make this role the next  step in your career!  

Job Description: 

• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot all products from our assembly line and RMA  
• PCBA (BP, MB and Server related boards) Incoming Quality Control  
• Assist test engineer/supervisor to diagnose and identify root causes for failed boards  
• Test and identify defective area(s) and enter information into RMA Repair database  
• Execute ECO, BIOS, and FW upgrades  
• Adhere to standard testing procedures and schedule to meet daily demand and quality requirements  
• Work efficiently in a fast paced production environment  
• Adhere to company and Production departments policies and procedures  
• Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor  

Job Requirements: 

• Minimum AA in Engineering, BA preferred  
• 1+ years’ experience in systems troubleshooting preferred   
• Basic knowledge of PC, System and Server operation  
• Familiarity with Window or DOS  
• Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness  
• Solid communications skills both verbal and written 

Additional Information: 

• Must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment screenings. I.e., background check, drug screening, physical and/or employment verification as required, etc. 

Job Types: 

• Temp-to-hire, Contract 

Salary: 

• $20.00 – $24.00 per hour DOE
