Job Title: Licensed Health Insurance Agent
Type of Role: Direct Hire

Location: Remote, but must be located in state of your license
States we CANNOT place in: CA, HI, OR, WA, AK, NC, DE, LA, NV, OH, SD, WV and WY
Salary Range: $21.50-22.00 ph with bonusing available 

This is a seasonal position in which you will be supporting customers during the annual enrollment period responsible for selling Medicare products through specific carriers. The role is captive, you will only be able to work for one carrier for the season. Start dates are rolling based on availability with carriers and your eligibility by license. AEP sales dates last between 10/15 -12/7.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Handle and carefully respond to all inbound and outbound customer inquiries
• Assisting customers with selecting a Medicare plan that meets their needs
• Provide excellent customer service through active listening
• Work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively
• Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive, patient, empathetic, and understanding
• Appropriately communicate with customers, exercising retention efforts if needed

 Identify customers who are comparison-shopping and inquiring about contract terms, assisting the customer with the correct price plan

• Compassionately handle sensitive situations surrounding healthcare needs, education, and prevention planning

Skills and Experience:

• Active “Health Insurance License” with a valid NPN  
  • Must hold your resident license in the state you are currently living in
• Ability to work full time (40 hours a week, 5 days a week)

• Open availability between hours of operation is required (HOOPS: Mon-Fri 8am-11pm EST) 

• Willing to work weekend shifts as needed as it may be required to work overtime on weekends during the peak weeks 

• Quiet & Professional Workplace 

• 18 years of age or older 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 

• Reliable internet connection (Must meet a minimum of 15 downloads, 5 upload) 

• Basic Computer Knowledge/Skills (you will need to complete a computer literacy test as part of our application process)
