Job Title: SMT Machine Operator
Location: Kenosha
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1stShift
Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automated SMT equipment and potentially soldering electronic components on printed circuit boards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various automatic or semi-automatic SMT machines.
- Follow written instructions and process sheets to complete production tasks.
- Inspect operations to ensure they meet predetermined tolerances and quality standards.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and ESD Program requirements.
- Report accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.
- Handle and dispose of waste, including hazardous materials, per SOPs.
- Stand, sit, and bend for long periods as required.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the switchgear manufacturing environment.
- Electrical experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
Additional Information:
- This is an ITAR facility; applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
