Job Title: Cook Lead & Microwave Lead (2 openings) 
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: Day Shift 
Location: Tracy, CA
Hourly Range: $22-26 (depending on experience)

Role and Responsibilities:
Position Overview
This person must be able to undertake a combination of physical and mental work that ranges from filling out paperwork to routine communication of job assignments required. This individual must multitask, provide quick responses/solutions to unforeseen production problems, and must always exhibit a professional, efficient demeanor.  
Job Responsibilities 

• Help monitor food cooking machines and adjust the controls for devices such as boilers, ovens, fryers and cookers
• Assist program equipment to operate according to company and recipe standards and make changes to cooking temperature and time
• React to any type of alarms or malfunctions of the equipment and operate the shut-off switch when necessary
• Load raw ingredients into the cooking machine and measure the amount needed by following company recipes and industry standards
• Comprehend written instructions and recipes from the company when putting together ingredients and starting a new batch of products

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications

• Minimal High School or GED
• 2-year experience in a Food Processing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years’ experience with Meat Processing
• USDA Trained
• Bilingual in Spanish/English
