Our firm is a law firm located in Carmel and we are looking for a full-time, in-office Civil Litigation Attorney in our Carmel Office. Our litigation practice primarily involves representing our clients in a variety of commercial disputes, including the defense of wage and hour claims, contract disputes, litigation related to real property, and disputes related to intellectual property.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have a solid grasp all aspects of civil litigation including pre-trial discovery, representing clients in court, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal advice and counsel.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Be a terrific communicator who can handle frequent in person or telephone calls with clients and team members.
• Be a solution finder.
• Have excellent writing skills and take pride in well-crafted litigation documents as to content and form.
• Have initiative with a solid drive to learn, and to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications:
• Juris Doctorate degree
• California State Bar License holder in good standing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations: contracts and employment law a plus
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• A minimum of 3+ years of civil litigation experience with a law firm

Job Type and Salary Package: Direct Hire
Starting off, we have a 150 month/1800 annual billable hour requirement.
At three (3) years of relevant experience, starting salary of $160,000 plus:
1) with bonus eligibility for meeting and exceeding billable hours on an annual calendar year basis payable in February following the end of that calendar year
2) annual origination bonus Base salary could range up to $225,000+ the above bonuses/incentives. The top end would generally be reserved for a candidate with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
