Our firm is a law firm located in Carmel and we are looking for a full-time, in-office in-office Business and Transactional Attorney for the Carmel office. This position manages a robust caseload and works directly with clients and senior attorneys.

The ideal candidate will:
A minimum of three (3) years of experience representing businesses and in negotiating and drafting business transactional documents. Experience with entity formations and trademarks is a plus.
• Be a terrific communicator who can handle frequent in person or telephone calls with clients and team members.
• Be a solution finder.
• Have excellent writing skills and take pride in well-crafted documents as to content and form.
• Have initiative with a solid drive to learn, and to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications:
• Juris Doctorate degree
• California State Bar License holder in good standing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Minimum of 3 years of experience representing businesses in a law firm setting

Job Type and Salary Package: Direct Hire
Starting off, we have a 150 month/1800 annual billable hour requirement.
At three (3) years of relevant experience, starting salary of $160,000 plus:
1) with bonus eligibility for meeting and exceeding billable hours on an annual calendar year basis payable in February following the end of that calendar year
2) annual origination bonus Base salary could range up to $225,000+ the above bonuses/incentives. The top end would generally be reserved for a candidate with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
