Job Title: Material Handler II

Type of Role: Full-Time

Shift / Hours: 1st Shift: Monday – Friday 6 AM – 2:30 PM, OT Saturdays, DT Sundays (only after 8-hour shifts Monday – Saturday)

Location: Manor, TX

Hourly Range: $18


About the Job:
The Material Handler II will be responsible for efficiently and safely distributing material both internally and externally within the facility. This role requires proficiency in 80% of Material Handler I tasks, a solid understanding of the 5S philosophy, and the ability to work across multiple functions. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately handle transactions and manage the movement of materials in and out of the stockroom
  • Ensure proper inventory level management and cycle counts
  • Maintain a clean warehouse environment
  • Kit all work orders with accuracy
  • Assist with WIP movement and related transactions
  • Help with shipping, receiving, and packaging as needed
  • May operate company truck and/or forklift
  • Perform other duties as required by the supervisor
  • Attendance is a key component of this role
  • Cross-train across departments for versatility

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in performing Material Handler I tasks
  • Basic understanding of Excel (data entry, saving files)
  • Ability to manage and store files effectively
  • Experience in ERP system operations, including creating locations and processing labels
  • Knowledge of KPI data management
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially for resolving inventory discrepancies
  • Ability to safely use hand trucks, pallet jacks, scales, and basic power tools
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 45 lbs and working in repetitive motion scenarios
