Job Title: Molding Technician

Type of Role: Contract to Hire

Shift / Hours: TBD

Location: Texas

Hourly Range: $25/hour

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Molding Technician to join a dynamic production team in Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient plastic injection molding processes, supporting new product introductions, and driving production optimization. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an innovative and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Set up and approve processes for scheduled production on injection-molding machines.
• Monitor molding temperature, pressure, and time to ensure compliance with approved cycles.
• Conduct inspections to maintain quality standards and document production processes.
• Assist with new product/process development and support the PPAP process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve molding defects within tooling capabilities.
• Perform preventative maintenance on molds and update tooling status.
• Lead by example, assisting with staff training and development.

Skills and Experience:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
• Experience:
  • 3+ years in manufacturing, molding, or process technician roles.
  • Knowledge of Scientific Molding Principles preferred.
  • RJG Master Molder certification is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in tight spaces.
