Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer (Mechanical or Chemical Processing)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Minimal Overtime)

Shift / Hours: M-F 530a-3p

Location: Phoenix, AZ

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer to join our team. This role is not a design engineering position but requires expertise in process optimization, manufacturing workflows, and quality standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee manufacturing processes related to paints, adhesives, and machining to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance.
  • Develop and improve production workflows, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure precise manufacturing and assembly of parts.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 or NADCAP standards for aerospace and industrial manufacturing.
  • Analyze and optimize chemical and mechanical processing methods to improve production efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement corrective actions to maintain process control.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams, quality assurance, and leadership to meet operational goals.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing / production engineering role.
  • Background in mechanical / chemical processing, specifically involving paints, adhesives, or machining.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles.
  • Experience with AS9100 or NADCAP standards and process documentation.
  • Ability to write and maintain detailed process documentation and work instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple teams.
