Job Title: Quality Technician 

Type of Role: Contract to hire 

Expected Length of Contract: 4-6 month contract to hire

Shift / Hours: 6p-6a, 3-2-2 rotating 

Location: Burlington, WA

Hourly Range: $26

Summary of Position

The Quality Technician II is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and compliance of products or services within a company. This position is for Pitman Night shift, a 3-2-2 rotating 12-hour shift that runs 6pm-6am.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Inspect products using industry-approved methods.
• Ensure production meets standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Compare finished goods to blueprints and specifications.
• Record and analyze inspection data, rework, and waste.
• Train production teams on quality control best practices.
• Identify process improvements and suggest enhancements.
• Monitor and maintain equipment safety and calibration.
• Conduct testing at different production stages and compile statistical data.
• Investigate root causes of defects and propose solutions.
• Support production teams with quality and process improvements.

Skills

• Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and statistical software.
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing experience in a technical role (PV module experience is a plus!).
• High School Diploma, GED, or higher education
