Job Title: Quality Technician
Type of Role: Contract to hire
Expected Length of Contract: 4-6 month contract to hire
Shift / Hours: 6p-6a, 3-2-2 rotating
Location: Burlington, WA
Hourly Range: $26
Summary of Position
The Quality Technician II is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and compliance of products or services within a company. This position is for Pitman Night shift, a 3-2-2 rotating 12-hour shift that runs 6pm-6am.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect products using industry-approved methods.
- Ensure production meets standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Compare finished goods to blueprints and specifications.
- Record and analyze inspection data, rework, and waste.
- Train production teams on quality control best practices.
- Identify process improvements and suggest enhancements.
- Monitor and maintain equipment safety and calibration.
- Conduct testing at different production stages and compile statistical data.
- Investigate root causes of defects and propose solutions.
- Support production teams with quality and process improvements.
Skills
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and statistical software.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing experience in a technical role (PV module experience is a plus!).
- High School Diploma, GED, or higher education
