Job Title: Forklift operators
Location: Tacoma, WA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are currently hiring Forklift operators for our new Tacoma location. We are looking for experienced warehouse sit down, stand up, and reach forklift operators with a strong work history, good work ethic and are ready for full-time employment. Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload containers and load outbound trailers.
- Accurately pick warehouse orders
- Utilize mobile handheld scanning devices for inventory movement throughout the warehouse
- Safe forklift driving skills
- Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 Lbs.)
- Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope)
- Safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties.
- Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
- Adhere to company safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the warehouse (this may include non-forklift-related duties).
- Prompt, daily attendance at the assigned work location.
Requirements
- Must have Forklift/Sitdown/Standup/Reach experience and be able to pass a written and driving test
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.).
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, and lift overhead while stacking, pushing/pulling freight and materials throughout the shift.
- Warehouse experience required.
- Ability fo follow instructions and complete required training.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a team member
- Good Attendance is Absolutely Critical.
