Job Title: Assembly Production Operator
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: Day or Swing
Location: San Jose, CA.
Hourly Range: $22.00-$24.00 an hour DOE
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assemble products in production line
- Employ high standards of assembly work to ensure high quality products are being produced on schedule
- Follow standard operating procedures and schedules to meet daily demands
- Perform in-process inspection to ensure products meet specifications and standards
- Maintain organized and safe work environment
- Follow instructions and respond to management direction
- Adhere to company and production department’s policies and procedures
- Perform other assembly line duties, as directed by supervisor
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and ability to utilize a “buddy system” for products weighing more than 50 lbs.
- Perform a full range of tasks and correspondence as needed
Skills and Experience:
- High school graduate preferred
- At least 1 year of working experience in Production Assembly Line
- Must be able to read and understand assembly instructions, production orders and all other documentation used to control processes.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness
- Solid communications skills both verbal and written
