About the Job
We are hiring a highly skilled QC Supervisor – Electrical & Instrument and Communication to lead electrical quality control operations at a high-profile construction site. Based in Taylor, TX, this role ensures code compliance and quality assurance through inspections, documentation reviews, and collaboration with subcontractors and project teams.
Role and Responsibilities

Oversee electrical and control system inspections for the construction project

Review inspection documents and confirm on-site inspection requests

Provide feedback on any non-compliances with codes, specifications, or regulations
-
Ensure corrections are made and give final approval prior to client supervision inspections
-
Manage inspection fail ratio and ensure proper documentation and resolution
-
Handle nonconformance reports (NCRs) and punch list items
-
Ensure nonconformities are resolved quickly with preventive measures
-
Perform quality checks on external shop work and finished products
-
Evaluate storage conditions and material quality from subcontractors
-
Remove any substandard materials from the project site

Check incoming electrical materials for compliance with project standards

Monitor inspections required by the City of Taylor and ensure jurisdictional compliance

Take on other responsibilities as assigned by the company
Skills and Experience
-
5–10 years of electrical quality control experience in plant construction
-
Deep knowledge of electrical/control codes and standards such as NEC
-
Skilled in reading DWG (drawings)
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
-
Proven experience working with various subcontractors
-
Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
-
High attention to detail with strong follow-up execution

Proactive, accountable, and safety-first mindset
-
Effective in fast-paced, multicultural work environments

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Proficiency in MS Office
Desirable / Preferred Skills
-
QA/QC experience
-
Experience with $50M+ construction projects
-
Background in oil & gas or semiconductor plant projects
-
Familiarity with Trimble software
-
Relevant electrical licenses or certifications (e.g., master electrician)

International or multi-cultural project experience
