Job Title: Controller
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Location: Tracy, CA
Salary Range: $135K – $155K (salary)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and present monthly financial statements to the Executive Team
- Responsible for on-time completion of monthly closing including GL reconciliation and journal entry posting
- Ensure proper controls and processes exist and are maintained at ACM
- Prepare, review and present sales projections and annual forecasts
- Analyze and create ad hoc financial reports and Excel-based financial modeling & budgeting
- Manage daily cash flow
- Prepare monthly Borrowing Base Reports as needed
- Manage capital asset purchases, leases, and depreciation schedules
- Lead contact for bank, insurance, and other regulatory audits
- Manage 3rd Party IT/Network provider
- Collaborate within inter-department teams and manage costing of production runs including yield analysis, production, and raw material adjustments
- Ensure record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements on tax filings
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting and month end close
- Manage, develop, coach, and mentor accounting staff
- Receive and answer inquiries from vendors and suppliers by phone, fax, postal mail, and electronic mail concerning invoices and payment status
- Implement new processes where necessary to ensure efficiency

- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s; To perform these operations using units of American money; To create statistical formulas in Excel
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions; Solid analytical skills are required; Must be self-motivated and pro-active; Must be able to work well with others
- Knowledge of and intermediate ability to use various computer-based programs including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to gather and verify information, recognize, and define problems, analyze findings, draw conclusions, and present solutions
- Ability to use a keyboard for data entry and general business correspondence, etc.
- Demonstrates consistency, reliability, accuracy, and thoroughness; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 5 – 10 years related controller accounting experience
- Working knowledge of an ERP accounting system (ABS accounting system experience a plus)
