Job Title: Procurement Analyst
Location: Tracy, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000 per year (DOE)
Direct Hire***
Overview:
The Procurement Analyst is responsible for sourcing, ordering, and ensuring timely delivery of meat, ingredients, and packaging materials. This role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and order materials based on production and storage needs
- Coordinate deliveries and manage on-site and off-site inventory
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Enter purchase orders and assist with invoice processing
- Collaborate with Production, QA, R&D, and Warehouse teams
- Support Operations and Plant Managers with procurement tasks
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with company policies
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in an office setting (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Canopy software a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) and experience in meat processing are a plus
Work Environment:
Primarily office-based with occasional light physical activity (lifting up to 25 lbs). Regular use of computer and standard office equipment.
