We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Powertrain Team in Casa Grande, AZ. This role is critical to maintaining our state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and ensuring uninterrupted production operations. The ideal candidate is experienced in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and electrical systems, and is proactive, communicative, and solutions-oriented.
Position:
Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Powertrain Team
Location: Casa Grande, AZ
Shift / Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM start; must be available for OT and weekends
Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Work with logic controllers to diagnose and resolve electrical problems.
- Conduct inspections and tests on hydraulic systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide customer service support regarding equipment functionality.
- Support installation of new equipment.
- Fabricate parts for plant and/or production equipment.
- Work with the maintenance planner to learn and use the CMMS system.
Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with PLC logic controls (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.).
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical schematics.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience with robots and automation equipment.
- Experience with motors, shafts, chains, and conveyor systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, including multimeters.
- Welding (MIG, TIG, stick) and metal cutting skills preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, stoop, and walk throughout the workday.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean DMV record.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
