Job Title: Wave Solder Machine Operator
Location: Manchester, NH
Shift: 2nd Shift
Type of Role: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: Starting at $17+/hr, based on experience
ITAR Facility: U.S. persons only
Overtime: May be required, including weekends
Job Purpose:
To set up, program, and operate Wave Solder and Selective Solder equipment in accordance with production procedures and quality standards. This position is also responsible for soldering, assembling, and inspecting electronic circuit boards to meet manufacturing specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up Wave Solder machines according to established profiles and procedures

Perform hand soldering of components for new builds, touch-ups, and rework
-
Read and follow visual aids, assembly instructions, and quality guidelines

Operate Selective Solder and Aqueous Cleaning equipment as required
-
Monitor and inspect product for quality, ensuring all work meets specifications
-
Perform basic maintenance on equipment and complete related documentation
-
Repair or rework defects identified after wave soldering
-
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Follow all safety procedures, including hazardous chemical handling and disposal

May be assigned to other areas of Production as needed

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand for an 8-hour shift

Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Prior experience operating production machinery; Wave Solder and Selective Solder preferred
-
Hands-on soldering experience required; IPC solder certifications a plus
-
Strong component identification knowledge
-
Basic computer skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
-
Strong attendance record
-
Physically able to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Additional Requirements:

Must be available for overtime and weekend shifts as required
-
Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. person status required)
