Job Title: Senior Business Process Analyst (SAP)
Type of Role: Contract
Expected Length of Contract: 6-12 months, but could extend long-term
Location: City, State OR Remote Nationwide OR Remote (States or Country of Eligibility)
Hourly Range: $55-$60/hr
The Senior Business Process Analyst supports the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP FICO and related finance and logistics systems. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and international teams to ensure financial systems meet business requirements, particularly around month-end close, performance monitoring, and cost management.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance existing SAP FICO solutions and related ERP logistics modules
- Deliver finance solutions using SAP standard functionality and custom business objects (CBOs)
- Monitor application performance and manage issue resolution
- Provide hands-on end-user support, particularly during month-end close cycles
- Conduct root cause analysis on persistent application issues and implement fixes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including those based in Korea and North America
- Analyze complex issues and determine methods for resolution based on sound judgment
- Escalate system or process issues when outside the role’s scope
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10 years of hands-on SAP FICO configuration and/or development experience
- Minimum of 2 full lifecycle SAP project implementations
- Deep expertise in SAP product costing and profitability analysis
- Strong knowledge of SAP CO components (Cost Centers, Internal Orders, etc.)
- SAP FICO and ABAP certification preferred
- Experience working with international teams and complex ERP environments
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other standard business tools
