About the Job:
We are seeking a part-time Human Resources Person to support the HR department of a cutting-edge ceramics manufacturer in Morgan Hill, CA. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for people, excellent organizational skills, and a desire to contribute to a growing company in a supportive, team-driven environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist with onboarding, orientation, and offboarding of employees

• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with documentation requirements

• Support benefits administration and timekeeping systems

• Help coordinate employee events and internal communications

• Respond to employee inquiries and escalate HR issues as needed

• Assist with recruiting, scheduling interviews, and applicant tracking

• Support day-to-day administrative functions for the HR team

Skills and Experience:

• 1+ year of experience in an HR, administrative, or office support role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail and confidentiality

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems is a plus

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
