Job Title: 5DX/AOI Operator
Type of Role: Temp to hire
Shift / Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm M-F
Location: Carrollton , TX
Pay: $16.00
Our team is looking for an AOI/AXI Test Operator to work in our electronic manufacturing plant in Carrollton, TX.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report AOI/AXI defect information from the test station reports
- Perform visual inspection of PCBA and compare against test station results
- Ensure component and solder results meet IPC requirements/standards prior to clearing reported defects
- Perform verification tests (as needed) in support of Quality or Engineering Department personnel
- Coordinate priorities/workload with Operations to ensure proper focus and output
- Ability to generate and understand defect analysis reports and images
- Assists engineers or technicians by gathering requested information to help establish the root cause of problems and determines corrective action.
- Able to use a variety of current software to properly execute required computer transactions, such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel
- Recognizes discrepancies in documentation or problems with quality, product or process, and recommends changes
Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-1 year related experience
- Ability to focus and attention to detail
- Ability to learn AOI &/or AXI (5DX) software applications
- Ability to meet/exceed daily and weekly production schedules
- Proficient computer skills
- Has willingness to learn, takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas
- Able to work under indirect supervision and following established practices and policies
- Able to work overtime and weekends when needed
Desired Experience:
- AOI/AXI (5DX) test experience
- Ability to read/interpret Bills of Material and AXI (5DX) analysis station reports
- Ability to read and comprehend Process Alerts and MPIs
- Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) and QA/QC inspection
- Familiarity with IPC assembly/Quality standards
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 Workmanship Standards
- Final QA/QC (PCBA) background
Physical Demands:
Required to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment; talk and hear in person; use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasionally may need to exert up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push and pull or otherwise move objects.
