Job Title: Tooling Tech & Machinist
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: 2pm – 11pm
Location: South San Antonio
Hourly Range: $24.25 – $32.75 (based on experience)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Plans, devises, and fabricates various tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures to within precise specifications.
• Fix molds to create plastic parts for Toyota and Tesla to name a few
• Build Metal Racks
• Troubleshooting of any issues with machines or tools
• Modify or repair existing tools and dies.
• Work involves accomplishing welding that fuses different metals and withstands great strength demands while avoiding distortion.
• Will change cutting tools and adjust machine controls to ensure specified timing, clearances, and tolerances

Skills and Experience:

• Mechanical Experience- repairing and servicing machines (either manufacturing or industrial)
• (1+) yrs Manual Mill and Lathe Operator experience
• (1+) yrs Experienced Troubleshoot and detecting equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining
• Read sketches, blueprints, and engineering details
