About the Job:

Join a dynamic operations team where you’ll play a key role in operating, monitoring, and maintaining automated machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is perfect for candidates who thrive in hands-on roles and want to grow within machine operations.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Review production schedules and process instructions to operate equipment efficiently

• Set up machines by loading components, stencils, chemicals, and other required materials

• Start up, operate, and monitor automated equipment and peripheral hardware

• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues during the production process

• Record data for inventory management and statistical process control

• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment cleanliness during shutdown

• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with quality standards

Skills and Experience:

Machine Operator positions are available from entry to advanced levels (Grades 2–6). Placement will depend on your experience and skill level.

Grade 2 (Entry-Level)

• 6–12 months of machine operator experience preferred

• Ability to follow moderately complex instructions and perform basic math

• Basic understanding of machine operation and quality inspection

Grade 3–4 (Intermediate)

• 2–5 years of experience in machine operations or a related field

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot machines and perform monthly maintenance

• Familiarity with automated insertion, soldering, and assembly equipment

Grade 5–6 (Advanced)

• 7–10 years of experience in machine operations

• Proficient in complex troubleshooting, machine programming, and process improvement

• May lead and train other employees, and act as a technical consultant

Work Environment:

You will work in a manufacturing setting around moving mechanical parts. Exposure to repetitive motion, chemicals, electrical equipment, and variable shifts is expected. Noise levels are generally moderate.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and handle small components

• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally

• Requires visual acuity for close work, color differentiation, and depth perception
