Job Title: Machine Operator

Role and Responsibilities:

Review production schedules and process instructions to operate equipment efficiently

Set up machines by loading components, stencils, chemicals, and other required materials

Start up, operate, and monitor automated equipment and peripheral hardware

Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues during the production process
-
Record data for inventory management and statistical process control

Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure equipment cleanliness during shutdown
-
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with quality standards
Skills and Experience:
Machine Operator positions are available from entry to advanced levels (Grades 2–6). Placement will depend on your experience and skill level.
Grade 2 (Entry-Level)

6–12 months of machine operator experience preferred
-
Ability to follow moderately complex instructions and perform basic math
-
Basic understanding of machine operation and quality inspection
Grade 3–4 (Intermediate)
-
2–5 years of experience in machine operations or a related field
-
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot machines and perform monthly maintenance
-
Familiarity with automated insertion, soldering, and assembly equipment
Grade 5–6 (Advanced)
-
7–10 years of experience in machine operations
-
Proficient in complex troubleshooting, machine programming, and process improvement
-
May lead and train other employees, and act as a technical consultant
Work Environment:
You will work in a manufacturing setting around moving mechanical parts. Exposure to repetitive motion, chemicals, electrical equipment, and variable shifts is expected. Noise levels are generally moderate.
Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand, walk, and handle small components

Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 25 lbs occasionally

Requires visual acuity for close work, color differentiation, and depth perception
