Expected Length of Contract: Ongoing
Shift / Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:15 PM, Monday through Friday
Location: Austin, TX
Hourly Range: $17.00/hour

About the Job:

We are hiring for an Assembler role with a leading manufacturing company in Austin. In this position, you will perform component installation, inspection, and minor repairs on electronic assemblies and subassemblies in a fast-paced production environment.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Read and follow work orders, drawings, or verbal instructions

  • Align and assemble parts using various tools and methods (e.g., crimping, soldering, riveting)

  • Mount components, install subassemblies, and attach hardware

  • Perform testing, inspection, and quality checks

  • Set up workstation per documentation

  • Operate machinery and complete production line tasks

  • Identify and report process or product deviations

  • Participate in preventative maintenance activities

  • Assist with repairs and train junior team members as needed

Specialized Responsibilities May Include:

  • Wiring and connecting circuit components

  • Solder masking, e-prom installation, and revision labeling

  • Quality control inspections on PTH and SMT components

  • Collecting SPC data and maintaining production documentation

  • Assembling large rack systems or handling multi-level subassemblies


Skills and Experience:

Education / Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Completion of company-provided training may be required

  • Entry-level to 7+ years of assembly experience depending on grade level

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Manual dexterity and excellent eye-hand coordination

  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions

  • Familiarity with tools, microscopes, and mechanical systems

  • Basic math and computer skills

  • Ability to work independently and in teams

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs (up to 50 lbs for systems roles)
