Job Title: Machine Operator 

Type of Role: Contract 

Expected Length of Contract: Contract- Long Term

Shift / Hours: 1st Shift (Variable times depending on production) 

Location: Castroville, CA 

Hourly Range: $20 Hourly

About the Job:
We’re seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join a fast-paced food packaging environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and looking for long-term growth in a production setting.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production machinery

• Set up machines and ensure proper operation during shifts

• Conduct routine quality checks and report any product inconsistencies

• Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with safety standards

• Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets

• Assist with equipment maintenance and perform minor repairs as needed

Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred

• Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced setting for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
