Job Title: QC Supervisor (MDP – Mechanical, Duct, Piping)

About the Job
We are seeking a highly experienced QC Supervisor to manage mechanical, duct, and piping quality control operations on a major construction project. This is a key leadership role working on-site in Taylor, TX, ensuring project compliance with all relevant codes and quality standards while coordinating with subcontractors and cross-functional teams.
Role and Responsibilities

Supervise MDP (Mechanical, Duct, Piping) inspection processes and ensure quality objectives are met

Review inspection documents and verify site inspection requests

Provide feedback to construction teams and subcontractors on code/spec violations
-
Confirm changes and corrections before client inspections
-
Manage inspection fail ratio and ensure follow-through on issues
-
Handle nonconformance reports (NCRs) and punch list items
-
Lead timely resolution of non-conformities and implement preventive measures

Conduct regular quality checks on materials, shop works, and subcontractors
-
Monitor material storage and remove substandard items
-
Ensure compliance with local inspections, including City of Taylor (COT) requirements

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by company
Skills and Experience
-
5–10 years of experience in MDP quality control in construction
-
Knowledgeable in ASME, API, and other relevant control codes and standards
-
Skilled in reading DWG files and construction drawings
-
Proven ability to work with multiple subcontractors

Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

Proactive, accountable, and solution-oriented mindset
-
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Proficient in MS Office applications
Desirable / Preferred Skills

QA/QC background
-
Experience with $50M+ construction projects
-
Familiarity with oil & gas or semiconductor plant construction

Experience using Trimble software
-
International or multi-cultural project experience
