Job Title: Project Operations Manager
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift / Hours: (If applicable)
Location: San Antonio, TX
Salary Range: $70K – $80K
The Project Operations Manager supports and coordinates projects across the facility to ensure timely execution, operational efficiency, and alignment with company goals. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables while maintaining quality and compliance standards. In the absence of the Operations Manager, this position assumes leadership of daily operational activities, overseeing staff, workflows, and productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination & Execution
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing projects throughout the facility, ensuring objectives are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate with department leads to allocate resources, manage schedules, and coordinate tasks.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Operational Leadership (When Acting as Operations Manager)
- Oversee daily operational activities to ensure smooth workflows, productivity, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Manage and support operational staff, including providing direction, feedback, and problem resolution.
- Maintain performance tracking through key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational reporting.
Process Improvement & Quality Control
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency across both projects and general operations.
- Support quality assurance efforts to maintain high standards in deliverables and services.
Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as a liaison between project teams, operations, and senior management to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project and operational performance.
Compliance & Safety Oversight
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and influence outcomes.
- Proven project management abilities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on practical, timely solutions.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in tracking and interpreting KPIs.
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Technical proficiency in relevant project and operations management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, project management, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in operations or project coordination, with supervisory responsibilities.
