Job Title: Finish Carpenter
We're seeking someone with strong finish carpentry skills who thrives in high-demand situations, works well with others, and brings a dependable, can-do attitude to every job. If you take pride in craftsmanship and enjoy problem-solving in ever-changing environments, we want to hear from you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Proficiency in finish carpentry, including trim, cabinetry, molding, door/window casing, and hardware installation
Ability to maintain quality and precision while working efficiently
Comfort using power tools, hand tools, and technology (we're a computer-wise team!)
Dependable, energetic, and a team player with a strong work ethic
Someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving job sites
- Installing cabinets: Building and installing cabinets, such as kitchen cabinets and under-stair cabinets
- Adding architectural details: Installing crown molding, baseboards, doors, window trims, and custom cabinets
- Installing other features: Installing stair railings, wainscoting, door trim, and other final touches
- Measuring and cutting: Measuring, cutting, and installing various fixtures and millwork
- Collaborating: Collaborating with other carpenters, journeymen, and supervisors to complete projects
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and repairing issues with building components and equipment
- Following safety regulations: Following established regulations and advocating for safety on each worksite
Qualifications
- Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies.
- Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally.
- Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in construction sites.
- Attention to detail, take pride in your work.
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
- Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism.
- Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team.
- Previous experience in finish carpentry (construction/restoration experience preferred)
- Proven experience as a finish carpenter or similar construction role.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and layout.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in:
- Electrical ( installations and fixture work)
- Plumbing (repairs and installations)
- Drywall (installation, patching, texturing)
- Painting and surface prep
- Demolition and debris removal
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt on the job site.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work on ladders or in tight spaces.

- Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or trade certification preferred.
Job Type: Temp to Hire
$30 -$37/Hour
Location:
Sand City, CA
(Must be willing to travel from site to site within the Tri-County Area)
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, Day Shift, variable start time
