Job Title: CNC Machinist
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift / Hours: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Training on Days)
Location: Fairview, Washington
Hourly Rate: $25-$30 DOE + $1.21 differential
Bonus: Performance-based, paid monthly

About the Role:
This position performs machining operations and ensures daily production requirements are met. You will be dedicated to getting the job done right the first time, while promoting a safe work environment focused on continuous improvement and world-class manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machines while proving out new programs

• Check tooling, setups, program coordinates, and other information to ensure quality

• Edit programs and make necessary corrections

• Document changes or corrections in the control

• Suggest improvements to shorten run times

• Analyze tooling, setups, and procedures to recommend improvements

• Load, unload, and pre-position work in fixtures

• Check parts for conformity using fixed gages and calipers

• Remain alert to detect improper machining

• Collaborate daily with production and engineering teams to solve issues

Skills and Experience:

• Two-year Machining Technology degree preferred

• Experience with Machine Shop Math and Horizontal Mill setups (FANUC controls preferred)

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

• Knowledge of CNC G & M code

• Understanding of speeds, feeds, and tooling

• Ability to inspect parts for conformance to prints and process dimensions

• Able to operate forklift, overhead crane, and other lifting devices

• Perform routine preventative equipment maintenance

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
