Job Title: Carpet Installer
Type of Role: (Contract)
Expected Length of Contract: (Temp to Hire)
Shift / Hours: Monday – Friday, Day Shift, Variable Start Time
Location: Seaside, CA
Hourly Range: $25/Hour
Position Overview
As a Carpet Installer, you’ll be a vital part of our installation team, ensuring each project is completed with precision and care. You’ll work hands-on in homes and commercial properties, transforming spaces and ensuring customer satisfaction from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure, cut, and install carpet to match layouts and specifications
- Prepare and clean subfloor surfaces before installation
- Install carpet padding and secure seams and edges using industry-standard techniques
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and project managers
- Maintain a clean and organized work site
- Follow all safety and company standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in carpet installation (residential and/or commercial)
- Familiarity with flooring tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and finishing
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Professional appearance and customer-first mindset
