Job Title: Material Handler
Type of Role: Contract or Contract-to-Hire
Expected Length of Contract: Varies depending on client needs
Shift / Hours: Monday-Friday 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: 3450 W. California Ave #200, Salt Lake City, Utah 84104, United States
Hourly Range: $18.00 – $20.00 (depending on experience)

About the Job:
We are seeking hardworking and dependable Material Handlers to support warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and moving metal products while operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders (metal products) based on customer requirements

• Operate sit-down forklift and other equipment as needed

• Safely lift up to 70 lbs.

• Use RF scan gun for order tracking and inventory management

• Read and measure materials accurately with a tape measure

• Perform daily housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with material handling tools such as clamp fasteners, manual jacks, lift trucks, and forklifts

• Advanced knowledge of material handling processes and inventory accuracy

• Adequate physical strength and stamina for repetitive lifting

• Ability to work under direct supervision and handle basic issues or problems

• Some positions may require a GED or high school diploma

Soft Skills:

• Hardworking and dependable

• Self-starter with a proactive attitude

• Thick-skinned and able to handle constructive feedback
