Job Title: Office Clerk
Type of Role: Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours: Day Shift 7am-3:30pm
Location: San Jose, CA
Hourly Range: $22.50/hr.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Clerk to support our operations team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring smooth administrative processes and high-quality documentation for upcoming and completed jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Communication: Call ahead to customers 24–48 hours in advance to confirm upcoming appointments or job details.
- Data Entry: Input job-related data into internal systems including Core and Preview.
- Document Management:
- Print paperwork for future jobs.
- Scan and upload completed paperwork.
- Review completed documents for accuracy and quality assurance.
- Routing Support: Collaborate with the team using the Atlas Router system to make necessary changes for drivers.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook for daily tasks and communication.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn and navigate internal systems (Core, Preview, Atlas Router).
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
