Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Type of Role: (Contract to Hire)
Shift / Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Location: Santa Maria, CA
Hourly Range: $23-$26
Role Overview
As an Accounts Payable Associate, the primary function is to assist in the coordinating and reporting of financial data from domestic locations as well as assist in the efficient management of accounting policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Education & Qualifications
? Assist the accounting team with accounting tasks
? Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or 4+ relevant work experience
? Preparation and processing of bank deposits
? Experience in Accounts Payable
? Accounts Payable: Match invoices with Purchase Orders and issue checks
? Strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
? Data Entry of accounting documentation/invoices
? Accurate data entry using 10-key and keyboard
? Communicate with various locations to resolve inter-company accounting issues
? Exceptional attention to detail, ability to multi
task and excellent time management skills
? Perform other tasks as assigned by management
? Must have an impeccable work ethic and be able to work independently
? Strong computer skills with MS Office/Excel and Sage100, a plus
