Responsibilities:

• Manufacture food products (herbs, teas, spices, etc.) in accordance with company regulations.
• Measure proper amounts of material to be processed for each food product.
• Operate milling, sifting, and blending machinery on a daily basis.
• Monitor food condition and quality through critical checkpoints of processing.
• Record and label processing status for each food product being milled.
• Assist in management of product inventory to maintain fresh consistent food product.
• Assist in maintenance of the mill, grounds, mill equipment and delivery equipment.
• Supports the Food Safety Program, Employee Safety Program and HACCP Program by ensuring compliance with all related procedures, policies and obligations.
• Communicates positively with other team members to maximize output and efficiency
• Attend appropriate food safety and quality training as required in compliance with SQF.

Qualifications:

• Basic Understanding of Mathematics
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
• Ability to read and write in English is helpful
• Exhibits ability to follow specific instructions carefully and thoughtfully
• Candidate must be able to work well with other employees in a positive manner.
• Eager and passionate about exceeding expectations
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work individually and in teams.

Job Type:
Temp to Hire, Full-time

Pay Rate:
$18.00/hour

Location:
Salinas, CA

Schedule:
Monday – Thursday // Work Alternative 4/10
6:30am – 5:00pm
