Job Title: Vehicle Safety Operator
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift / Hours: Evening and Nights
Location: San Francisco, CA
Salary Range: $25.25- $29.03
Role Overview
The AI Vehicle Safety Operator rides in a vehicle equipped with Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology to monitor safety, provide a pleasant customer experience, be attentive, alert, and ready to take control if needed. This role does not require strong technical skills.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Ride with customers during FSD trips
- Take control of the vehicle only if the FSD system requires intervention
- Provide a pleasant customer experience, remain attentive and alert
Skills and Experience:
- Must be 18 or older
- Valid California driver’s license required
- Proof of insurance under your name required
- Clean driving record
- Able to speak English
- Safety-focused and able to follow signals and instructions
- Comfortable interacting with customers
- Able to ride in vehicles for an extended period
