Job Title: HR Manager
Type of Role: Direct Hire
Shift / Hours: (Flexibility needed) 8am – 5pm
Location: Blue Springs, Mississippi 38828
A Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the organization, with a strong focus on compliance, policy enforcement, employee relations, and leadership support. This role ensures HR practices are consistent, compliant, and aligned with company goals, while fostering a stable and professional workplace culture.
Key responsibilities of a HR Manager:
- HR Policy & Compliance Oversight: Ensure consistent application and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and employment laws (federal, state, and local).
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted HR partner for employees and management, handling performance management, corrective actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Leadership & Management Support: Advise managers on HR best practices, employee issues, and policy interpretation to ensure consistent decision-making.
- Talent Management: Oversee recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention strategies to support operational needs.
- Performance Management: Manage performance review processes, disciplinary actions, and employee development initiatives.
- HR Operations: Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and reporting while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Benefits & Compensation Administration: Support benefits administration, leave management, and compensation processes in alignment with company policies.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve HR processes while maintaining structure and compliance.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to remain consistent, fair, and firm when enforcing policies
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 7–9 years of progressive HR management experience
- Demonstrated experience working closely with operations and leadership teams
- Prior experience in a stable, structured HR environment strongly preferred
