Location: Atwater, CA
Salary Range: Up to $100,000
We are seeking an experienced Working Foreman to join a full-service industrial contracting team that supports agricultural and food processing companies throughout California.
Position Summary
The Working Foreman is a highly skilled, hands-on construction professional responsible for leading a crew while actively working alongside the team. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity on the jobsite.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, direct, and motivate a construction crew while working hands-on in the field; perform skilled construction tasks such as layout, framing, concrete, structural, and finish work; assign daily tasks and manage workflow to ensure efficient job completion; read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications; enforce jobsite safety policies and OSHA compliance; maintain quality control standards across all crew activities; coordinate materials, tools, and equipment needs; communicate daily progress and issues to site leadership; train and mentor crew members and reinforce performance expectations; identify and resolve field issues in real time.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of hands-on construction experience, including 2–3 years in a lead or foreman role; strong working knowledge of multiple construction trades; proven ability to lead a crew while remaining hands-on; ability to read and understand construction drawings and layouts; strong safety awareness and leadership skills; reliable, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused.
Preferred Qualifications
Commercial or industrial construction experience; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus; OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification; experience operating construction equipment (forklift, lift, skid steer, etc.).
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; ability to work outdoors in varying conditions; ability to stand, climb, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
