Job Title: Digital Printer / Anodizer / Maintenance Associate (2nd Shift)
Location: Lodi, CA
Pay Rate: $21–$26 per hour
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 2nd Shift (Train on days and moved to 2nd shift) 

Position Summary
The Digital Printer / Anodizer / Maintenance Associate is responsible for supporting the efficient flow of orders through digital printing, finishing, and anodizing operations. This role ensures customer orders are produced accurately, on time, and to quality standards while optimizing material usage and maintaining production equipment. The position requires hands-on operation of digital printing systems and the anodizing line, as well as routine maintenance and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up, monitor, and operate digital web-fed and sheet-fed printing and finishing equipment.
• Set up, monitor, and operate the anodizing line, including daily start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Review and interpret job tickets, drawings, proofs, and customer-supplied samples.
• Prepare press-ready files using graphic, RIP, and press software; adjust press parameters as needed.
• Verify job requirements including quantities, materials, colors, variable data, embellishments, and special instructions.
• Monitor print and finished product quality, including ink coverage, density, alignment, and registration.
• Load machines with appropriate materials and adjust settings based on material width, thickness, and type.
• Request, schedule, and verify material availability prior to production.
• Submit consumable requests and track usage.
• Maintain daily production, ink usage, and quality logs.
• Create and maintain customer production records, printed samples, and color reference data.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Wear required PPE and assist with basic maintenance tasks during 2nd shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Equipment and Computer Skills

• Experience with computer-aided design, query software, manufacturing systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, scales, spectrophotometers, and densitometers.
• Experience performing routine service tasks and preventative maintenance on production equipment.

Experience, Education, and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of machines, tools, and production processes.
• Knowledge of color management and quality standards.
• Strong math, measuring, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to order and manage required materials.
• Visual color discrimination and strong manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
